Introduction!

Hello friends and family!

I hope you are all enjoying your summers!

As many of you know, I am in Bolivia for the next ten weeks volunteering at a youth center and working with street children on the outskirts of the city of Cochabamba.  I am incredibly excited for this experience, and I am humbled, honored, and grateful to Dartmouth’s Tucker Foundation for providing the funding for this project.

I’d love to stay in touch while I’m away, but I don’t want to clog anyone’s inbox. So, as a true child of the ‘90s, I’ve created this blog!

Feel free to follow it if that floats your boat!  I’ll probably write some of the posts in Spanish (Lord knows I need the practice… Today I mixed up the words ‘recoja’ and ‘recilaje’ and accidently asked some poor fellow where I could recycle my suitcase!).

I’ll try to post lots of pictures as well.

I miss you all already and I look forward to catching up in person when I return.
